About

My mind is whirling at all the possibilities that could come with this...

Hi!  My name is Rachel.  If  you want to know something about me,  all you have to do is ask.

But so you don’t have to ask so much, here’s brief description of me:

I’m an aspiring photographer at American University, though right now my intended major is Visual Communications and a Foreign Language (and considering minoring in Graphic Design). Up until relatively recently, I had been using my friend’s Nikon D200 DSLR, though I am glad to announce that I now have my own Canon EOS Rebel XS DSLR, and a couple of weeks ago, I invested in a Minolta SLR- two great cameras that I love working with.  Throughout the year I’ll be posting some of my photographs to showcase (also, there’s a link off to the side that says ‘Additional Photography’ that links to my Flickr site; most of the photos there have been taken with the point and shoot that I own, hence the not-so-great quality of quite a few photos; it’s a work in progress and the same goes for this site), as well as other work that I’ve done for some of my classes.

Peruse at your leisure and enjoy!

  1. Great idea, but will this work over the long run?

    • Most likely no, but I’d like to think that nothing is impossible… and thanks for the compliment!

  2. I don’t know If I said it already but …Cool site, love the info. I do a lot of research online on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I’m glad I found your blog. Thanks, 🙂

    A definite great read…
